Vehicle Detail
I purchased this Mustang from a private seller in 2003. It is a nice, solid Fastback that you can drive, admire and enjoy! This is not a restoration. It has a 289 CI original engine with matching VIN numbers on door and fender. It has a C4 auto transmission, power steering and power brakes. The rear end is the original 2.80:1 ratio. Original Vintage Burgundy color was re-painted in 2003. I believe some body filler was used on the lower portion of the quarter panels. All original factory interior including rally pack (clock is not working). Windshield wipers work fine but car is missing resevoir bag. It has been garaged for 8 years and under a carport for the past year. The black carpet shows very little wear and has plenty of life left. The visors are good and solid and not broken down but there is pitting on the actual chrome supports. Headliner is in fairly decent shape with one seam separating slightly. Have purchased new headliner but has not been installed and will be included. The seats are firm with good color and minimal wear. The door panels and rear fiberglass panels are intact and in good shape. The gauges and knobs on the dash look appropriate for the age of the car. The top of the dash looks good without any cracking. Car starts, runs and drives very well considering the age of the vehicle and the fact that is has not been restored and has had no major work performed within the last decade. Feel free to email any questions regarding this Mustang. On Mar-13-12 at 14:30:11 PDT, seller added the following information: I purchased this Mustang from a private seller in 2003.
