I am the third owner - for a month. I bought this truck last month after a very, very long search with the intention keeping it for a long time as it was replacing a high mileage 7.3l. The ONLY reason I am selling it is because I have a chance to buy a 4x4 Diesel Sportsmobile. If it does not sell, I’ll happily keep the truck. As soon as I got the truck, it had to pass a Texas state inspection. It did so with no issues. I had to title it in my name. I’m not a dealer so I had to pay the sales taxes, ouch. Since I was planning on keeping it, I did a preventive maintenance check, oil change, fuel filter, etc…. I replaced the glow plug relay, the fuel filter drain (not just the o-rings), and the windshield wiper motor. The previous owner was an older Hispanic gentleman from Florida. He had the truck updated very recently with the newer grill and lights and such so it looks like a newer truck. This is not a cheap upgrade. There are a lot of extras, stereo, exhaust, slight lift, etc.....There is a very nice Dynomax 4” exhaust all the way back including the down tube and 5” at exhaust tip. There is an aftermarket filter. It sounds great but he said it has never been any programmer used on the truck. Stereo sounds great, and has a remote. The truck looks great as you can see on the exterior. The paint looks great, the panels are straight and very clean. There are virtually no rockchips on front of truck and the paint is beading water like crazy (it’s raining). There are a couple of very minor scratches but amazingly clean. This was obviously not a work truck. There is a plastic bed liner in the bed, no gooseneck, and no brake booster. This was not a work truck. There is no rust anywhere on the truck, it is a southern truck. The truck drives extremely well, no shakes or wobbling. It stops straight and shifts very smoothly. It hard started on me when it was cold, so the glow plug relay was replaced. It starts perfectly now. Also, it had a slight fuel leak at the fuel bowl so the drain valve was replaced. Now there are no leaks and all the maintenance is up to date. Everything is in working condition from power windows and locks to power leather seats. The A/C is ice cold and heater works as it should. the previous owner said the truck was involved in a slight fender bender in 2005 or 2006 which caused a broken foglight and minor bumper damage. The truck was updated in the front end just last year so it looks like a 2005 and up. This is why I hunted so long on this truck. Again, I would not be selling this rig unless the wife said no Sportsmobile with selling something. I would not hesitate to drive anywhere in the vehicle. The interior is very nice. There is some wear on the driver’s seat edge from sliding in and out but no holes or tears. The leather is in excellent condition considering age. The gray leather holds up better than the tan. A good cleaning would make it even better. Carpets are in great shape as well, no stains. Headliner is perfect. Non-smoker. The stereo is an aftermarket model and has a remote control. I try and disclose everything, I don’t like surprises. If I was keeping. I would replace the shocks, you may find them fine but I would replace. I’d pull off the side window visors. They are just stuck on with adhesive and will remove in about 2 minutes. The tires are not new. Texas inspects tires and they passed without issue and the guy said 5000-10000 miles left. (see photos) There is an aftermarket alarm on the truck with two controllers. It works fine, I just dislike aftermarket alarms. The plastic Power Stroke cover fitting that fits over the fuel filter was broken off when the fuel filter was changed. There is a small ding in the rear bumper, it may or may not show up in the photos. I’m sure there are other things but nothing sticks out. The center roof console is missing the doors. I have a friend that was supposed to get me a set this week. I know I can get a set for $50 off Ebay. I have sold several vehicles on Ebay and each time the buyer said the trucks were nicer than I described. So, this is a really nice truck, it’s not perfect but I believe there are not too many of these out there with this low mileage in this condition. The only reason I am selling is because I have an opportunity to buy a 4x4 van that suits our family even better than this truck (and I never thought my wife would agree to a 4x4 van until she actually saw one). This truck is a 2002 so there is typical wear and what not but nothing out of ordinary. As with any used vehicle, there is no warranty, expressed or implied. $500 deposit is due immediately via Paypal act the end of the auction. The remaining balance is to be done via wire transfer or certified funds with 72 hours. I can store the vehicle (outside) at a buddy’s warehouse for a period but I would like to payment asap so I can move on this Sportsmobile. Please don’t make me some low ball offer, I am not trying to get rich on this truck, just need to sell it so I can buy the van. I know dealers are asking $5000+ more for a comparable rig. It's a very nice truck, I'll keep it if it does not sell (I just won't get my Sportsmobile). I drive the truck daily so mileage my be higher. I can't see anyone being disappointed in this truck.
