THE OVERVIEW Offered for an appreciating new owner is this 1988 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe! This is a great running, decent driving low-priced entry level vette with 139,000 original miles. It starts and runs beautifully with excellent smooth and torquey V8 power. It just had new tires, fluid service and is being sold with clear and clean California titlle and current registration. Really. Maybe true maybe not. In any case it is not all dented up and of course does not have a rusty body! The wheels could use a good polishing also. Recently installed brand new windshield and rubber molding too. THE INTERIOR The interior of this 1988 corvette is in pretty good condition except for the perforated leather seat covering has peeled away alot. the seats are still very comfortable with working electric functions. The radio and speakers are good though I just broke the antenna in the car wash. The heat works great, the a/c is not cold, all other gauges and controls seem to work well. The car is shown with the special wood dash insert pieces. I also have the set of black ones that will be included with the car. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This 24 yeay-old corvette starts and runs very well. The transmission up and down shifts perfectly. The brake pedal is very hard to stop the car currently [needs brake booster I believe]. The suspension is a boot loose though the car goes very straight down a smooth highway delivering 25 miles per gallon. Cool car on the open raod with the top removed. THE DETAILS AND $$$$$$ 1.
