Vehicle Detail

2000 Dodge Dakota 4x4 Sport Extended Cab Color - Dark Forest Green Mileage - 45.438 Automatic Transmission 4.7L V8 Engine This truck was built to compete in IASCA Sound Quality competitions, and did so very successfully in 2001-2003. The truck was displayed at the 2001 Spring Break Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL as part of the first Installer's Challenge representing Team HiFi Buys. It also took Best Truck honors in the SLAP contest at the 2001 show in Perry, GA and came in 17 out of 25 in the invitational portion of the IASCA competition in the same show. To put the SLAP honors into perspective, that year's Best Car award went to Gary Biggs' Buick Regal and Best Vehicle Overall went to Mark Eldredge's Toyota 4Runner. It also won numerous local events around Atlanta in the years I was competing. I stopped competing, moved, and got married in 2003. The truck has been in the expert care of my installer since then, and has been in storage the last three years. All maintenance has been performed on a regular basis, engine cranked every couple of weeks and allowed to run. She runs and drives great. Now on to the modifications. Stereo System Head Unit: Eclipse 55090 CD/DVD Speakers: Four 6.5" Boston Acoustics low-mid drivers (two in each door) Two 4" Boston Acoustics high-mid drivers (one in each door) Four 1" Boston Acoustics tweeters (one in each door and two in dash) Two 6.5" a/d/s coaxials in back seat Four 12" Audiomobile subwoofers Amplifiers: Two Precision Power PC2350 powering the subwoofers - total power to the subs 2,800 watts peak Three Precision Power PC275 powering the interior speakers - total power to the interior 450 watts peak Crossover and Equalizers One Phoenix Gold 3-way active crossover Two Phoenix Gold EQ-232 two channel 31-band equalizers (one in dash for Sound Quality tuning and one in the bed for RTA tuning) Other Notable Features: 11" monitor molded into center of dash Alpine DVD Navigation unit Extensive use of DynaMat Extreme sound deadening material throughout cabin Clifford Intelliguard 7000 security system Motorized tonneau cover controlled by security system Motorized amplifier drawer controlled by security system Subwoofers mounted in custom fiberglass and Plexi-glass enclosure in bed of truck, with pass-through cut into cabin. Engine and Appearance Mods: Kenne Bell Supercharger Cold air intake Axis Vortex 18" wheels wearing Toyo Proxes rubber Flowmaster dual exhaust The pictures can basically tell the rest of the story. I have no use for this truck or desire to start competing again in this stage in my life, so its time to try to recoup some of the investment. There has been over $80,000 invested in this vehicle, so my loss is your gain. I just want it out of my driveway at this point.
