Vehicle Detail
I have a lot of time, effort and money into listing this car on ebay. Please be respectful of that and read the entire description/terms of the auction to be certain that you intend to follow through with the sale. Your bid is a contract to buy. I have the listing set up to accept bids only from US bidders in an effort to prevent scammers from ruining my auction. If you are a legitimate bidder outside of the US and you have a way to have the car picked up at my location without it being crated, e-mail me at cbednas@yahoo.com and I will add you to the list that allows you to bid. This "Ole Cad" is titled as a 1926 but from what I can tell, it is at least a 1927. 1927 was the first year to have the spare wheels mounted on the running boards. It is in very solid shape, with the only real rot being on the underside of the spare wheel carriers and the underside of the battery box. There is surface rust elsewhere but the metal is all very solid. This old girl was built like a tank! There are no loose parts included with the car, just what you see in the pictures. The headlights, tail light, horn, and instruments are no longer with the car. I put the transmission in gear and rolled the car forward and the engine turns over freely and seems to make good compression. The guy that I bought it from said that he heard the engine run before he bought it. It will need some electrical sorting to get it to run. I have not tried to start it but as I said, the engine does turn over and has compression. There are 212 clickable thumbnails below detailing the condition of the car. If you click on the pictures again after they open, they get even larger. Please look at all of them carefully and ask any questions you have before bidding. You can call me at 773-474-1744, e-mail me at cbednas@yahoo.com, or contact me through ebay. The car is located in the city of Chicago. Shipping a car can be expensive, so be sure to look into it before bidding. My zip code is 60618 to help in figuring shipping. Winning bidder picks up in Chicago or arranges for/pays for all shipping/crating. $100 deposit via PayPal due within 24 hours of auction close. Remainder via one of the standard payment methods within three days. No PayPal for remainder unless you contact me first. The car is to be picked up within three weeks of auction close. $25 per week storage fee after that.
