This auction is for a 1962 Chevy Nova 2-dr Hardtop. This car is a southern California car and came from Santa Barbara in 1975. It has sat in a garage in southern Indiana for most of this time. There is no front bumper. The car is not rusted out but a has a couple of holes, and some surface rust around the trunk lid and in the trunk floor, which is just surface only. I believe that the garage this car sat in for years had a leak which allowed water to drip down on the cars trunk which created the surface rust, but it is not through the trunk. The trunk is still really solid. To the best of my knowledge all the parts are here. It is just the body with no engine or transmission. The car has bucket seats from a 64 SuperSport Nova and an extra deck lid from a SuperSport Nova. I don't know a lot about the car's history except the little bit of info the previous owner told me. I really would liked to have built this car myself, but am too tied up with a 57 Chevy right now. The front fenders are in the trunk and since they've been in there for several years, they are in really good shape--just minor dings, no rust. All the windows are pretty good except the front windshield which has a crack. The previous owner had taken alot of the parts off the car to start building it, and had to stop due to his own reasons. When I bought this car from the previous owner, he had not brought the title up to date, so I had him do that. While he was at the DMV doing this, he asked for the original title and they gave it to him. (See picture) I do have a current title for the car (not pictured).
