Vehicle Detail

*** The pictures taken of the trunk, batteries, hydros are from 3-12-2012. The car sits in an auto shop during the winters so if you see a lot of dust on the car, that is why. Sorry for the smudge on the lens, but it gives a solid idea of what the hydros looks like*** Up for sale: 1964 Chevy Biscayne Lowrider with a 16 switch hydraulic set-up. Just had a kid so I need the space. Heres the info for this perfect cruiser that you can drive every night at a steal of a price: Hydraulics: 10 switch hydraulic suspension with 8 deep cycle marine batteries. It does 3 wheel motion, side to side, pancake, you name it and it will do it. It all works. One of the most expensive things in maintaining these cars is the cost of replacement batteries ***Well last year - I bought 8 brand new AC Delco Deep Cycle Marine batteries that cost over $1,000 including tax!!*** If your thinking about doing something different with the car, you could easily sell them for $100 a pop. Engine: The car has an inline 6 cylinder motor thats been dependable and runs great. Never had an issue. Start it and go. Trans: The trans is the automatic 2-Speed Powerglide. When I bought the car, I changed out the transmission fluid and all the seals. Its in great shape! Brakes: Just replaced the brakes last summer it stops real nice. Body: A nice, candy forest green paint job and a lot the chrome still shines nice. As you can see in some of the pics, the body is not perfectly straight, there are chips and cracks in the paint, some rust spots, and there are bends in the body. For those who don't know much about lowriders, the body will always be crooked because of the hydraulic suspension, especially if the car is driven. Interior: The interior is a black vinyl and matches the dash etc... perfectly. Stereo: A nice mid-level Sony and reasonable speakers in the back deck. This car is just a blast to drive around in and cruise. Its an attention magnate and my buddy (who drives a newer Z06 Vette) always complains when I bring it around because everyone stares at my lowrider and they forget about his Vette. When I drive it in downtown Chicago on a summer night, traffic on the street literally stops and everyone yelling that they want to see 3 wheel motion. The car is just that much fun. Only serious buyers, please. I've got work and a family and don't have the time to be messing with someone who doesn't have the money. Please be fair. If you have any questions or plan on bidding, feel free to call me: JAKE (773) 744-7704 and I can give you more info on the phone. If I don't pickup, Im at work and will call back that night. Just leave a message. The car is in the Chicagoland area. Thanks for taking a look!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
