Vehicle Detail

Here is a 1969 Charger, that has been sitting in a shop for several years as a project that never got finished. As you can see, it has rust in the inner/outer quarters, trunk, and floor. The rear valence will need replaced below the taillight panel. I do not have a fender for the driver's side. The remainder of the car is solid, as are all the frame rails, it will not need any of the rails replaced. I only have the parts that are shown, and the wiring harness in the box is an extra. The grille has a break in the driver's side, but can still be used, as these grilles are not cheap. The driver's door is very solid. The passenger door is also solid, but does have a very small amount of rust at the bottom rear on the inside part. Both rockers appears to be nice. Around rear winder appears nice, but you can tell body work has been done there. It was done by someone else, so I don't know what it looked like before it was started. The hood, left fender, and trunk lid are all very solid. The front structure is very nice, although there is one small spot of rust on top of the fender apron on the driver's side, which is hard to see in the photos. I do not have any of the seats, no gauges, no motor, no transmission. There is no windshield, but the rest of the glass is in the car and looks to be in very good condition. The only things that I have are shown in the pics. I can only provide a bill of sale, as I do not have a title for the car. The original VIN and fender tag are still on the car in the correct places. I took pics of both, but they did not show up well. If someone wants pics of these, I will be happy to send them along with other pics if needed. I decoded the fender tag on the 1969 Dodge Charger registry site. You can check this out for helpful into. According to that site, this 1969 Charger is 1 of 7398 with Air Conditioning, and 1 of 9012 with Tinted Glass. The Air Conditioning decal is still present on the right quarter window. Also, I was told that the brake booster is a Bendix, although the care does not decode as having Bendix originally. You can e-mail questions, or you can call me at 501-410-3229. I did not list a buy it now, but am willing to deal on such if you want to call and discuss. I have sold several cars on Ebay and everyone has always been happy, as you can see in my feedback. Thanks, Chris The fender tag decodes as follows: XP29F9B378196 M31 R11 V1F 26 END A01 C16 C55 G11 H51 M21 F5 C6X X9 513 868765 E44 D31 XP29 F9B 378196 M31 = Body belt molding R11 = Music Master AM Radio V1F = Green vinyl roof 26 = 26 Inch radiator A01 = Light package C16 = Console C55 = Bucket seats G11 = Tinted windows (all glass) H51 = Air conditioning M21 = Drip rail moldings F5 = Medium green poly paint C6X = Black standard bucket seats X9 = Don’t know 513 = Date built (May 13, 1969) 868765 = Order number E44 = 318 8 cylinder engine D31 = Light duty automatic transmission XP29 = Charger premium 2 door hardtop F9B = F – 318 230 HP 1-2 BBL 8 CYL, 9 – 1969, B – Dodge Main, Hamtrack, MI, USA
