This 1996 Jeep Cherokee is in excellent mechanical condition. The engine is flawless, the clutch is smooth. The transfer case shifts in and out of 4 wheel drive very smoothly. The heat and A/C works well. The exhaust is tight. Recent state inspection. There is evidence of some bodywork on the right rear near the fender. Abolutely no body rust. I purchased this Jeep from northern Virginia, and there is rust on the undercarriage from road salt. The Michelin P225/75R15 tires are in excellent shape. The Jeep performs great in 4 wheel drive in the mud. The driver side door lock cylinder needs to be replaced due to vandalism. It looks like a screwdriver was put in it.
