1961 Ford T-Bird, Dual exhaust, 2 Door, 61,559 original miles. This T-Bird looks to be a real #'s matching car with the Original 390 V-8, Automatic transmission and factory rearend. This Bird also has, Power windows, Power drivers seat, Sway away steering column, New brakes all around, 4 new tires, New shocks, New fuel pump, New gas tank, Air shocks in the rear, AM-FM stereo, runs and drives. This car looks to have been garage kept and the suspension is clean and not rusty. The car looks to have had a complete strip down and a $10,000 + paint job, The chrome is show and not rusty or pitted anywhere, the door seals and bumper to body rubber is all new, tons of extra parts and trim pieces are in the trunk, Factory original hub caps and the rims are painted to match the car color. The interior is complete and only needs minor touchups and tinkering, the exterior is clean and has a real nice shine and only a few rust bubble spots, one rust spot is on the passenger side part of the white roof and by the front lower parts of both doors. We drove this car and runs and shifts like it should. We are selling this for a family friend of ours and comes with all the paperwork and transferable registration in hand and ready for a new owner. We will not disclose the reserve price to be fair to other bidders, but is a very reasonable price and less then what was spent on it over the years. This is not a show car, and needs some minor work like the seal on the steering box, a drivers side rear axle seal and a transmission gasket, it is not leaking and the pan was only alittle wet. We took the car to a local garage to be evaluated and thats what was found. This is a nice example of how cars used to be made and not bad for a 51 year old car and is an eye catcher.
