I am selling my 1985 Volkswagen Cabriolet. This a very low mileage vehicle and is in very good condition. I will describe this vehicle in full detail. If there is anything that I leave pput that is of importance to you please ask before placing a bid. Please treat this auction serious. I will start with the MECHANICS of this vehicle.....This vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition. Everything works great and does not need any mechanical work. Has only 84K original miles! The engine runs smooth. Was just givin a full tune-up. No leaks of any kind. The clutch is fairly new. The transmission is in excellent condition. The brakes are less than 6 months old (front and back) The tires are new. Suspension is in excellent condition. New battery. Very nice running VW that does not need any mechanical work at all. I had the vehicle inspected by my mechanic to support this and everything checked out great!....The EXTERIOR... The body is in very good to excellent condition. Has never been in an accident. No body damage, no dents. I walked around the vehicle and checked the body close. I saw 3 very minor door dings througout the intire vehicle, rest of the body was excelllent. The original paint looks very good, especialy for the year of this vehicle. Has no clear coat peeling anywere and it is still shiny. Looks great. The chrome bumpers are in good shape. Drivers side is missing the side molding that goes along the side of the vehicle. All of the glass and lights are in excellent condition. The top is 3 years old and is in excellent condition except for the fact it has a tear on the top of it. Someone cut it :( The cut is about 1 foot long and is cut completely through (see pic) Rest of the top is excellent including the rear glass. Overall the exterior looks great, except for the cut in the top....The INTERIOR.... The intire interior is in very good condition. Door panels are in very good condition. Drivers side door panel clips are worn and part of the door panel pops out a little (easy fix) Door panels are nice, no damage and very clean. The dash is in excellent condition. All of the seats are in excellent condition. Drivers seat has a very small tear (hardly noticable) Carpet is in good condition. Interior is very clean and looks great. This is a very nice looking and great running VW. Will be smogged for new owner as well. Clean title in hand. This is a no reserve auction. Highest bid will win this vehicle.
