You are bidding on a 2001 Audi TT Quattro Roadster. Four cylinder turbocharged 1.8 litre 225HP engine. 6 speed manual transmission. The vehicle is Nimbus Grey outside with a black top and brown Baseball-Optic Leather interior. The tires are Pirelli PZero Nero 225/45 ZR17 with about 7,000 miles The vehicle is in very good mechanical condition. The body is rust free, no dents or damage except for a few parking lot dings. All of the glass is good. This vehicle has never been in an accident. Some of the features and equipment include: xenon headlights, headlight washers, heated seats, automatic climate control, Bose premium sound system w/6 disc CD changer, This vehicle also has a navigation system, but it is pretty outdated and primitive, so exclude this from your pricing calculations. At 59,000 miles the following service was performed: New timing belt, new water pump, valve job, new accessory belt, new belt tensioners, new spark plugs and oil change with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. If you are considering an Audi/VW vehicle with the 1.8 turbo engine, be certain the timing belt has no more than 60,000 miles on it. They are known to fail at about 60,000 miles and the result is catastrophic engine damage. Known flaws on this vehicle are as follows: Power convertible top operates sluggishly. Usually opens fine but needs a bit of manual assist when closing. The rear wind screen does not raise all the way. The leather on the seats and one armrest is dried out from sun in a few places and has cracked as a result The handle on the glove box is broken. The box still opens and latches fine. The top has one pinhole that has been repaired with silicone, It does not leak. The tonneau cover is missing Otherwise the vehicle has the normal amount of wear you would expect on an 11 year old vehicle. It is NOT in mint condition, so please don't expect it to be.
