Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 1980 Corvette. I have owned this car for the past 15 years and now I am selling it because I am loosing my parking space. The vehicle has been stored in a garage that is about 50 miles from where I live so over the past 5 years I have not really driven it at all. Let me tell you that although the pictures were taken at an Automotive Dealership, they are not the ones selling it. I am an Automotive Technician for a European Auto maker and when the new cars just become too much to handle, my therapy was to work on the corvette. Over the years it has received a new chevy crate motor(nothing special just a genuine chevy 350 replacement), Bilstein shocks, fiberglass rear spring, rear diff, poly control arm bushings, mufflers, and carpet, there is also a 12 disk cd changer in the storage box behind the passengers seat. My goal with this car was to have a very reliable street driven corvette, not a trailer queen. All of the replacement parts were as close as possible to OEM without worrying about date stamps and N.O.S. regulations. I have really enjoyed this vehicle and I hope that whom ever wins will enjoy it as well. There are some paint blisters on the hood and one on the rear bumper, also there are a few spider cracks in the fiberglass in the body. I believe the body hasn't been painted before I owned it and research tells me that the early bumpers do this. The seats need new coverings. This was the last big item to do, however I need to move this car on and it is not in the cards right now. It passes NH State Inspection and most everything works. The Power door locks do not work because the actuators are not there, someone thought it was a good idea to take them out years ago. however the outside door lock cylinders work so I have never fixed this. As far as payment goes cash or certified bank check. Local pickup or car hauler pickup, you decide and you fund. Thanks and good luck.
