Vehicle Detail

This vehicle is a 1961 Ford Econoline. I have done a poor man rebuild on the motor so there are less miles on the rebuild then what is listed in the add, total miles on rebuild are 25,000. It does need some work but it runs and drives no problems with the motor. The Econoline dos, however need a new headlight switch but it is a 25 dollar fix and fairly simple. The motor is an inline 6 and it is a manual 3 on a tree. Fun o drve and it has been un for my wife to learn how to drive. There are a fw rust spots but nothing major. Driver side window needs replaced but all other glass is fine and in tact.On Feb-26-12 at 09:15:43 PST, seller added the following information: This vehicle is a 1961 Ford Econoline. In response to some recent questions about rust and possible body damage. the rust is in fairly common areas according to my research. being the front of the bed where the cab meets the floor it has rusted through allowing water to seep in behind the driverside to pool and rust. it is all very repairable though i don't know if there are patch panels made for factory resto cause that is not the route i planed to take with it. from everything i have read and seen online about these awesome vehicles this is a true surviver. the bed and nose are usually heavily beat on and suffer the scars of commercial fleet vehicles. not saying this was a commercial vehicle just that most were. anyway the nose on this one is as flat on the inside as the outside with i believe no bondo the bed looks to have all factory panels with out patch panels the tailgate hinges were molded in which gives it a subtle yet slick look which happens to be bondo. truck is not razor straight on body but is factory straight with little to no bondo. that is why i wanted it but wife says need something with more room for growing family. I hope this helps any or all viewers and bidders thank you for your interest.
