Up for auction is my 2001 Jaguar XJR . I would have to describe the car as having a clean straight body , the car looks great inside and out ,It looks as clean as the pictures portray , pictures are approx 1 week old . This is the supercharged version and has the great XJR alloy wheels , grill , supercharged engine etc . I am selling this as a fixer upper as it does need a few things and I have priced it accordingly . It will need the rear differential either replaced or repaired as it is noisy and it also needs a a right rear wheel bearing which is also noisy , the passenger side mirror glass needs to be reinstalled as well . The check engine light is currently on and shows that the battery is not charging but after taking the car to the Jaguar agents they have told me the car is charging and there is a breakdown in the communication system somewhere between the alternator and computer . For the above reasons I am selling it as a project car as is , it can be fixed or it can make a great parts car , personally I think it is too clean to part out . The engine starts right up and runs well , the transmission shifts through all the gears as it should , I would not drive the car very far without addressing the wheel bearing at a minimum .
