This fastback has been adult owned since 1981. The lady drove it back and forth to work for all those years. In the mid 90's they had a new ford1/4 panel installed as well as some rear frame rail repairs. The rear frame rails are effective and work fine just not the nicest repair. The paint shows it age and is in need of a repaint. They had the engine rubuilt when the car had a 140k miles on it, the engine has 13k since the rebuild and runs very good, the trans was rebuilt at that time also and works great also. Most all the mechanical has been rebuilt or replaced in the last 13k miles. The only thing that may need some attention is the steering box (some play in the wheel) and the exhaust has a small leak. The interior was just all redone as well as new full lenth floor pans installed. The electrical all seems to function as it should and the speedometer also works. The body is in pretty good shape with the only rust hole is in the rh rocker panel, fixable as it is only about the size of a half dollar. It does have some dings here as well as a lot of chips in the paint. Good car to save some money on by doing some of the repair yourself.
