This isn't the kind of car I would normally buy but this is the kind of car you have to buy. It's so original and unmolested, I couldn't believe it. Even the original square of rubber underneath the spare tire was intact. There is no rust on this car. It is one of the best old cars, condition wise, I have bought recently. I got it from some type of ballistics weapons expert. He showed me pictures of submarines firing missiles. He had made the missiles, the man told me. The man had also taken apart the fuel injection on the Renault. He told me he got it to start once and ran it for about 20 minutes. It had sat in his well lit garage for 10 years and thats all he did, take the fuel injection apart. It is all here and many spare parts as well. There's no dings and dents on the whole car. It's as well preserved as I have seen. I know it's not the most popular model, but if you want a good platform for restoration, you can do no wrong here. On Feb-22-12 at 21:11:52 PST, seller added the following information: Update: Armed with a can of ether & a hot battery my fearless partner & I got the Renault to fire over a dozen times. The gas smells rank & will need a rinse out, but she fires. All exterior lights are working except the rear passenger side lamp. The gauges light up in a very cool ambient glow. Wipers do not work. Hazards & blinkers do. There is also the original owners manual with documentation of delivery to the first owners.Au revoir,Harris.
