Vehicle Detail
I am parting with my scout. I have too many projects and need the space in the barn. I am including an extra 4 cyl engine with the sale attached to a working 3 speed transmission and transfer case. The extra engine is locked up, but has many useable parts. Good head, block, etc. The scout has the 4 cyl engine in it. When I purchased it from an old farmer it did not run. I have since gotten the scout to run and drive around the farm under it's own power. It does not have any working brakes. I have not even taken the drums off to inspect what is there or leaking. The overall condition is poor, but very restorable. It has some rust around door sills and floorboards. It is not ready to fall apart though. Easy patches or a new floorpan will fix it. The bed is sound. The driver door has a dent in it and the latches on both doors need some work. The roof is only sitting on the cab right now, and it has dents in the top where people had used it for storage. The radiator and front end are in good shape with minor dents to the sheetmetal. The fuel tanks were unhooked when I purchased this and I have "improvised" to get it running. It is not a jewel, but a more solid and rust free than your average scout. You are getting a project to spend a little and either have a fun toy or more and have a perfect scout. The scout has been stored inside until today when I had to move it out for these pictures and to make more room. Storage is available for a month or so. I require full amount before item is removed from my property. Your are getting an extra engine and transmission with this purchase please dont forget. That alone can cost over $1000.00 from a scout parts house. Thanks & please feel free to ask questions...
