The fairly recent repaint has a very nice deep lustruous shine. This is a mostly rust-free car...very dry underneath....with some light corrosion on the trailing end of the rear windscreen and surface rust in the trunk only. The original-appearing chrome shows some fading and dullness. The car needs replacement of at least two front tires and possibly rear as well. The glass is in good condition. THE INTERIOR The interior of this Bel Air is in pretty original, slightly tattered condition overall. The sppedometer does work though the five-digit odometer is inop. The door panels are dry and peeling some, there is some splitting and wear on the upholstery and carpets. the headline is in very good condition. THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This classic Chevy starts, idles and runs and drives very well! The engine is super smooth with very good accelleration. You can easily smoke the poor old bias ply tires from a standing start! The braking is solid with good pedal feel. The suspension is a bit loose though drives very straight down the road. The engine was recently rebuilt while there is currently a slight exhaust manifod leak/flutter sound.
