1958 Oldsmobile Dynamic Eighty-Eight Holiday Coupe I am selling my vintage Oldsmobile. Not many of these left, as most of these have been shipped off to Europe and will never be seen again on American soil. Most of the one's that ARE LEFT don't run, are rust buckets, or have been robbed of thier parts. BUT NOT THIS ONE! I bought her in 2003 from a man in New Mexico. He told me that the car was bought new in GALLUP NM and spent it's entire life there. As the story goes, it was a running & driving car until someone shot a bullet through the driver's side door (while the window was rolled down) and broke the glass. The owner got disgusted &never drove it again, and it sat in a field for over 20+ years until I bought it. It took me 4 years to located a correct replacement fuel tank in Wisconsin and I had it professionally restored (THIS IS A RARE FUEL TANK that is not only YEAR SPECIFIC but MODEL SPECIFIC as well!). I added a NEW SENDING UNIT, FUEL FILTER, FUEL PUMP, & REBUILT THE ORIGINAL CARBURATOR, which left the entire fuel system restored. I also replaced the points, spark plugs & plug wires, as well as the thermostat and added fresh coolant. When I dropped in a new battery and fresh gasoline, IT FIRED RIGHT UP!!!
