This is a Bright Red 1984 Chevrolet Corvette. It has a 350 Crossfire engine and a Doug Nash 4+3 Manual Transmission (1 of 6443). The car came with (Z51) Performance Handling Package. Car runs and drives great, there are no leaks and car does not smoke. A compression test showed all cylinders between 158 and 172 psi. This car originally came with the engine oil cooler which has been deleted from the car. The cooler is still in the car but the adapter at the oil filter is not on the car. Everything on the car works AC, Heat, Windows, power seat, rear hatch switches, electric mirrors, and Digital Dash, the only exception is the cruise control and I may have it fixed by the end of the auction. An aftermarket radio and speakers have been installed to replace the Delco BOSE system. Originally this car came with the transparent glass roof, however, it was broken and someone covered it with black vinyl which does not leak. A previous owner install the spoiler kit and wing on the rear. The car does need minor body work, mainly on the spoilers and right behind the drivers door (a previous repair is cracking). The clear coat and paint is in poor condition and the car will need painting. Pictures show Dante Bullitt style wheels, will sell the car with these rims or I do have the 1984 original rims. Car is for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel auction at any time. On Feb-17-12 at 08:31:56 PST, seller added the following information:Forgot to mention interior condition. All trim and door panels are in fair to good shape. There are no cracks in the dash pad, just 2 small holes, looks like someone had install something on the dash at one time. Carpet is in great shape with the exception of 1 tear at drivers left foot rest pad. The worst part of the interior are the seats, there are no rips or tears in the seats, leather is worn and on the passenger seat the leather is coming off the backing in one location.
