1965 Pontiac Tempest post car. This car is an original California black plate car. This car is as rust free as you will ever find. I cannot find real rust on this car anywhere (see pics of rust prone areas). Body work has been done and the small dents and dings taken out with the car now being in primer. No sag on the doors and they shut tight. Most of the panel gaps are very good with a few needing some miner adjustment. The Reef Turqoise interior is original and complete. The hood, grille, rear valance trim panel, and tail lights are GTO pieces. The bumpers are extremely straight with excellent chrome. The anodised aluminum trim around the windows is very clean. This car hasn't been cut or modified and has the original straight 6 cylinder engine still in place. All the glass is nice original LOF (no scratches) except the windshield (non LOF) having a rock chip. This is an inline six clinder 215 engine with a two speed automatic transmission and a 2.52:1 open carrier rear end. I am selling this car for a friend who used it as a daily driver for two years. Motor has a little blowby out of the breather, but is still reliable and recently made a trip from northern California. The stainless trim for rocker panels is off of the car but will be included in the sale. Also, the heater core leaks and is currently bypassed, but there is a new in-the-box core that is included in the sale. Needs to have the radio speaker replaced. My friend loves this car and is only selling because he is down sizing. If you are looking for a cool car to use as a driver or looking for a solid candidate for a project car, here it is. I'm starting this at $4500.00, you couldn't buy a half rusty car and replace a single quarter, or a floor pan for that.
