I am forced to re-list my car due to the previous buyer not understanding the terms and conditions of the purchase. Please read the ENTIRE description prior to bidding or using the "Buy it Now" option. Up for sale is my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix 4 door sedan. Before you read to far, I would like state that the transmission is bad. The car cannot be driven, however, the engine runs great. The car has the 3.8 liter V-6, but has been professionally turbocharged and intercooled using a Cartuning Performance (www.cartuning.ca) turbocharger kit. The kit includes:62mm Precision Turbocharger, Custom fit air-to-air intercooler, 65 lb/hr fuel injectors, LS-1 Style MAF sensor, Turbonetics wastegate, Monza Blowoff valve, and remapped PCM with custom tune to handle the turbocharger and intercooler. I have also installed a high-flow exhaust system with dual Magnaflow Turbo XL mufflers and Yukon Denali exhaust tips. Additionally, I have installed a Quicktime Products Exhaust Cutout Valve to bypass the entire exhaust system just after the wastegate. The car has been dynoed and makes just over 325 hp, and average 450 ft-lb of torque. The car is riding on American Eagle 20" rims and BFGoodrich T/A KDW 265/35ZR20 rims with a good amount of tread left on them, i would say probably about 65% on the front and 75% on the back. I have also lowered the car 2" up front and 1.5" in the back using Eibach Lowering springs. The springs give the car a really nice stance, and the rims really fill the wheel wells up quite nicely. Just look for yourself! Also installed is a JVC CD Player AM/FM radio with an Aux input in the front panel. Pioneer 65 Watt Speakers in the Door and Rear Shelf, as well as an Alpine 500 Watt Amplifier and Polk Audio 12 Inch subwoofer in the trunk give this car an amazing sound. They have been installed using an 1200 Watt wiring kit. A custom center console includes a boost gauge, a fuel pressure gauge, and an oil pressure gauge as well as stealth buttons to operate the exhaust cutout valve. Orange accent lighting inside the dashboard gives the interior a nice glow and comes on automatically with the headlights and dashboard lights. Now for the bad part: The transmission has gone out. That is why I am selling the car. This car, when working properly, was incredibly fast, beating almost everything on the road. About the only thing faster than me was Z06 Corvettes, Vipers, and one time a Ferrari 360 Modena. I did beat an 80's Ferrari at the drags one time however. It is even faster in the 1/8th mile than my wifes CTS-V!!!The mechanic estimates about $2200-$2500 to fix the transmission. The engine runs very well, however, the crankshaft position sensor does need replaced. The Engine still runs great, but it does throw the crankshaft position sensor code check engine light . Please note that the pictures were taken professionally before the intercooler was installed. There are a few pictures included from when the intercooler was being installed, but I dont have any with it installed. This car is an amazing sleeper, and all it needs is a new or rebuilt transmission!
