Up for auction is my 1970 AMC Javelin SST. I am the original owner and have the original Bill of Sale and Promissory Note. It has its numbers matching 390 V8 engine and 4 speed manual transmission. Both were rebuilt to stock specs in 1997 and have very few miles since restoration. There is no rust nor has there ever been any rust on the car. It retains all of its original sheet metal and body panels. This is an original California car having spent all its life in Bakersfield. This is a beautiful car in excellent running and driving condition. The exterior color was originally Sonic Silver (95A) with a “C” stripe and the interior was black leather (61L). It is now Midnight Blue with Blue cloth interior. Paint and interior are beautiful and in excellent condition. It has a completely functional Ram Air Hood, power brakes, front and rear spoilers, CD changer in the finished trunk. It even has the original US Indy Mags that I bought for the car in 1970. It has 97,047 true actual miles. All gauges and electrical components work. It drives straight and everything is tight. The car is currently registered in my name and there are no back fees. The car has been garaged and covered since the restoration. The only issues that the car has are a dime sized bubble in the paint behind the driver side “C” pillar and the driver window needs a little help to raise. I have all receipts from the complete restoration in 1997 and know the complete history of the car. This is a beautiful rust free Javelin that runs and drives like new.
