Vehicle Detail

1977 Chevy 1/2 ton 4X4 Stepside ShortboxVIN: CKD147J139331 Grab your Cowboy hat and tell Sissy you'll meet her at the DISCO ? Every so often we get in a one-of-a-kind rig that is truly something special. This CHEVY TRUCK is one of those vehicles! Please read on: Please contact me directly with any questions or to make a purchase offer before the auction ends (of the vehicles we’ve sold here on Ebay, about a third go to a smart early-bird that calls ahead and buys the rig outright – don’t snooze and lose!). My direct phone number is 425-444-1700 and my name is Mark. You’re welcome and encouraged to make an appointment during business hours to inspect the Truck at my facility. General Condition: The photos really do tell the story. If you’re looking for something unique that will handle long distance trips, towing your boat, rough country roads, or even a great driving daily commuter, this is the Truck for you. The exterior has Red, White and Blue paint that, I find far better than average. The motor is a built 350 with headers and custom dual exhaust, mated to a 4 speed on the floor. All the glass seems to be original with no cracks or delam spots. The faux wood grain interior trim and moldings are in overall good condition. The aftermarket Wheels and tires with about 85% rubber. Rust? Please! Our west coast vehicles hate body rust and I see nothing here to worry about! Yes, the Pacific Northwest does get a bit of drizzly rain, but hardly ever any snow so our winter roads aren’t salted. Mechanically this vehicle seems strong and in fine shape. Even after sitting for a few days at a time it never fails to start right up at the first few cranks – you just can’t beat these bullet-proof V-8s! The manual transmission glides up and down between gears just fine. After driving it now for several days, I can tell you that this vintage Stepside freeway accelerates to 70 MPH almost before you can blink. I know it can be tough to find another in this condition with a ridiculously low reserve! As a long-term Ebay seller with many satisfied online buyers, I want you to bid with confidence knowing that this vehicle runs and drives as it should and that it is being properly represented to you. About the only negatives I can think to pass along are heater/ac controls aren’t functioning, a small hole in the floor above the drivers side rocker, 2 inch dent in the paintwork on the drivers door and some clear coat delamination on the cab roof. We’ve helped arrange long-distance shipping for many of our customers all over the world, but I also have no problem encouraging bidders to do what others from as far away as Alaska, the east coast, Arizona, Eastern Canada, Florida and even the Mexican Baja have done – fly in (We’ll pick you up at Sea-Tac International ten minutes away) and then drive home cross-country the same day! I wouldn’t hesitate (and in fact, I encourage you) to do so. C’mon, the weather’s pretty decent and, hey, you’ll have four-wheel-drive if a little snow or ice does show up on the trip! Note to Bidders: We will NEVER “shill” or falsely "bump-up" an auction (a violation of eBay rules and also Federal Law) and we will NEVER, EVER solicit a “Second Chance Offer” from ANY Bidder! Because of the amount of money involved in buying a vehicle, we require that new eBay members with a feedback history of five or fewer transactions call or email before placing a bid. If I don’t have this initial contact, your bid may be cancelled. The phone number to talk directly to me, as outlined above, is 425-444-1700. Please feel free to call any time during the auction. TERMS OF SALE: In fairness to all bidders Reserves are held in confidence until after the end of the auction. Please check the photos over closely and call with any questions BEFORE you place a bid! You are encouraged to inspect the vehicle at our premises on weekdays, so send your representative early to be sure you don't miss this one. We reserve the right to cancel your bid if you have any negative feedback. DEALERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME TO BID! We reserve the right to end the auction early if the car is no longer for sale or an acceptable offer has been agreed to. A nonrefundable $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of the auction’s end. We can accept PAYPAL, wire transfer or certified funds for the deposit. The balance is due by cash or certified funds within five days unless prior arrangements have been made with us. Remember, you are bidding to buy and I fully expect the winner to fulfill their Ebay contract! You are not bidding to hold, inspect or then come test-drive the vehicle! You are more than welcome to do this before the auction ends. All costs of transport to the purchaser’s location are the responsibility of the purchaser. I’m more than happy to store the Truck for a few days after the sale and will help coordinate pickup and loading with the transporter you choose. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! Just a few additional Terms and Requirements: The Buyer is responsible for any licensing requirements in their state of residence. If you’re a Washington State resident we’ll need to collect the required 9.5% sales tax, title preparation any registration/transfer fees at the time of delivery to you. This means we collect NO sales tax or title costs if you’re from anywhere else. I've done my very best to describe the Stepside as honestly as possible. As a pre-owned vehicle, it may have or develop issues or problems at any moment, so please don’t have unreasonable expectations. I can't guarantee that every physical and internal defect or flaw has been uncovered, but have tried to accurately describe the major points at the time of the auction. The 1977 Chevrolet 4x4 is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. Having said that, I know of no reason why you couldn't drive it anywhere. A storage fee of $15 per day will take effect beginning the fifteenth day after the auction concludes unless other arrangements have been agreed to. The State of Washington shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes. Venue shall be exclusively in King County. The final contract signed between both buyer and seller shall be binding. The final signed contract and terms thereof shall govern the sale. All disputes arising out of or relating to this auction, any negotiations, the signed agreement, or to the breach, enforcement or interpretation thereof, shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Washington, in accordance with the terms contained in the final sale agreement and under the laws of the State of Washington.
