This rare Euro model 1981 Mercedes SL 500 is absolutely gorgeous and far more attractive than it's US 560 counterpart due to the very nice looking cat's eye style headlamps and thin chrome bumpers (as opposed to huge rubber bumpers on the American cars) It's finished in one of the most distinguished color combinations ever! It has a clean title from my home state of New Mexico, and I purchased the car directly from the Mercedes dealership, where it had been serviced from day one and traded in on a new Mercedes. (There is only one dealership but it has changed names) The car has virtually no rust and the paint and interior are still in good shape considering its age. It runs great and has a lot of power compared to 560's and it's far more fun than a 450!! The miles are approximately 111,000 according to conversion below: 1 kilometer = 0.621371192 milesThus it is actually a low mileage car, in almost original condition. The rims and tires are excellent (pictured) The car always starts and runs -even if it sits for a month. And the convertible top is in great shape, as is the hardtop. (Convertible top seems unused) The A/C does not blow cold though. The seats and carpet are in great shape, but the dash has cracks under the liner. All the gauges are working, and the engine/ transmission run great. I am willing to assist with shipping anywhere in the world.
