2000 Corvette - Magnetic red/tan interior - extremely low miles! Second owner Up for auction is my personal 2000 Corvette. I am the second owner and have babied this car throughout my ownership - it still smells like new! I purchased it at Galles Chevrolet in Albuquerque in July 2001 with 8,697 on the odometer. This is a highly optioned car and the stupendous LS1 5.7 liter engine propels it in a published performance time of 4.7 seconds. The C5 is capable of matching or besting the 0–60 mph acceleration times of some of the world's premier sports cars, including the BMWZ8, Ferrari 360 and Porsche 911 Turbo (Type996) It's top speed rating is 200 mph yet it sips gas on the highway - I've gotten 30mpg or better while cruising in sixth gear at a leisurely 1700 rpm. Monstrous four-wheel-disc antilock brakes keep stopping distances short, while massive 17-inch front and 18-inch rear tires contribute to prodigious amounts of road grip. The rubber stays planted well, too, thanks to a fully independent four-wheel SLA height-adjustable suspension. I haven't done much to improve this car except add custom brushed stainless steel threshold guards. An exhaust tip fell off at one point so I had to buy a full set of Corsa performance C-5 high-polished stainless steel exhaust tips. Three spare are included. I replaced the air conditioner compressor and receiver drier in July 2010 with 17,844 miles on the odometer. The first owner evidently purchased a spare set of matching carpeted floor mats at the time of his purchase. These come with the car and have never been installed. He also installed a polished stainless steel exhaust dress up plate. This car even comes with orginal manual, Corvette pencil light, pen and Corvette note pads! Plus all service records.
