1975 Maico MC250 Vintage dirt mx racer with original 1970 paint job... $150.00 shipping to southern Califonia and great prices for other western areas and good rates for the east also. -MECHANICAL-- Bike is non running condition. Bike has been in dry storage and the top end is seized up. The previous owner said it was running about 5 years ago and was disappointed to say that the he did not oil the top end. The carb and throttle move just fine. He said the bike when stored was running proper and shifted through all gears correctly and leaked no oil etc.. He said there is a race cylinder head on it and that the bike is super fast and would beat any other big bike on the flat lake bed, no problem, $10.00 a race he would win... Both the front and back brakes work as they should, engine cases etc.. all look good with no damage. He had put air fillers on the top for the forks and as you can see the front end is sitting low. The front rim has a little dent as you can see in the pics and the back looks good. The chain is in intact and looks good, no bend or cracks in the frame etc.. The exhaust is separated at the bottom, under the engine and needs repaired -COSMETICS-- The "Serpentine" is what they called it. The paint job is straight from the 70s and is sweet! The paint is actually still in good condition and shows well for its age. The tank has no cracks, the seat is in good shape with 1 small nick and I think that is it. The number plate has one off the mounts broke, bars are straight, chrome is good and be cleaned up more. The levers are straight with Magura throttle and kill switch is intact. - OVERALL-- The bike is a great looking original racer that should only need minimal work to get going again, could be going in a day...-Payment must be made within 3 days by paypal, or bank wire. If you would like to pay another way you must ask before bidding. Bike must be picked up within 3 weeks after auction ends, unless discussed prior to bidding. I can also assist in shipping and getting quotes for east and west coast. I can also fully wood crate this bike, if need be, for additional charges. I can broker the shipping for you and try and get the cheapest shipping with transporters that I work with all the time and I do get good rates. For overseas, bikes usually go to a port or a logistics company in the area, you will have to arrange shipping from any port to oversea I do not deal with any off that, although I will assist in any way that will help you.
