CALL STEVE MILLER TODAY AT 1-630-957-8872 This S-Type "R" was the perfect low mileage car about a month ago ... all it needed was front brakes ... new tires ... a new head lamp because of a bad adjuster ... a vehicle safety inspection ... and an oil change. We spent $3,000 during our reconditioning process to get this "R" set up as the perfect vehicle for sale ... Please see the pictures of the repair orders and inspection in our picture file (they are the last ones in our picture file). And then the Used Car Managers worst nightmare happened. This S-Type was involved in a accident with a paint booth. Yes, a paint booth ... in our service area. Thankfully no one was hurt when the accident occurred except for the mechanic's pride that forgot to bleed the brakes. This accident only produced cosmetic exterior damage. There is no undercarriage or frame damage that occurred. With the exception of the exterior mirrors this car is 100% driveable. Most of the cosmetic damage are in body panels as you will see from the pictures. We also included 4 pictures of the vehicle prior to this accident. They are in the middle of the 125 pictures on file. To review all of the pictures, "click" the view all photos button located below our main picture. Prior to the accident this was the perfect car inside and out ... it just needed some maintenance and good detailed cleaning. The interior was and still is in perfect condition. It is a NON-SMOKER vehicle that shows like a low mileage, well maintained, vehicle should. Mechanically it is in great condition with everything operating and it has a fresh set of 4 tires, new front brakes, and all of the maintenance is up to date. Even though we have a Jaguar Certified Body Shop on premise, the General Manager and Used Car Manager will not allow us to repair the outside cosmetic damage and resell the car off our lot. So they decided to sell the car as a "Cosmetic Fixer-Upper" versus advertising it with our main inventory.
