Vehicle Detail
RELISTED DUE TO A NON PAYING BIDDER!! This listing is for a 1991 Toyota 4runner. I bought this about 18 months ago from the original owner. The car was originally in Alabama, until the original owner moved to Florida. The carfax will show 2 owners, but they are both the same. He had it titled thru his business, and when he sold he retitled to himself. I never registered the car. The Title has been changed to my name. My intention was to go thru the Toyota completely, and sell my 1987 Chevy silverado, and drive the 4 runner. Well. I went thru the 4runner completely, and decided I was going to retire, which I have, so I sold the Silverado, and will sell the 4 runner. I still have a 1992 Lexus sc300 and a 2002 Lincoln Blackwood. Just to many vehicles. This doesn't even count my wife's car. The following is a list of what I did to the 4 runner. This is one of the nicest 91 4runner you will find. Runs and drives excellent, no issues, and does not smoke or burn oil. These older 4Runners last, if properly maintained!! Check my feedback for the Chevy Silverado, which I sold about 2 weeks ago, and the 1985 Mercedes Wagon, I sold about 6 weeks ago. CHECK OUT THE HIGH AUTO CHEK SCORE. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DON"T AGREE WITH ANY OF MY TERMS. Great Transaction! Nice to know there are still very honest people in the world! The exterior of the car is excellent, and the paint looks very nice. Absolutely, NO RUST. This is a southern car, that has never seen snow or salt. The bumpers look nearly new, as the front grill, headlights, tailights, corner lights, etc. Tires are about 50% This 4runner was very well taken care of by original owner. He also drove a very nice Mercedes, and lived on the water. The interior of this 4 runner is nearly new. Lokk at the pictures and you will see what I am talking about. Seats are like new, carpeting is like new, floor mats are close to new, headliner is like new. The car looks fantastic. If you are looking for an older 4runner, you have found one of the nicest around. Please check the Revisions part of the listing, as I will add anything that I have forgotten. I will post some of the Feedback, from past buyers of my cars. Remember, when spending High $$$ on Ebay, the sellers feedback is extremely important. That is all you have to go by, so put a lot of weight into it, before bidding. Whether it is on my car or someone elses. Buying sight unseen can be a scary thing, but not with me. I am not a dealer, and give personal service, throughout the sale of my cars. Any questions, please email me. If you want to talk to me personally, I will provide you with my phone number. Here are some of my feedback letters, and emails I have received. Please don't wait till the last minute to bid. Give yourself time to rebid, if you are serious about owning this Toyota. I always get Emails after the auctions, saying I wanted to put another bid, but ran out of time!! Thanks for viewing my auction, and GOOD LUCK!! Here is the feedback for the Mercedes, sold in January of 2009: “Amazingly GREAT seller. His feedback is well deserved. Cannot say enough! Thx” _____________________________________________________________________________ Here are a couple of comments from past buyers: Good morning Randy, You were right, the car is fabulous! We arrived home about 3:30 AM on Saturday. The trip back was very smooth…just a little Friday PM traffic north on 75 but other than that it couldn’t have been better. We did about 1750 miles in 32 hours so needless to say I was glad to get to a bed. Thanks so much for your and your wife’s graciousness and hospitality during our visit. The drinks and snacks were a very kind gesture and much appreciated. Thanks also for making this a truly satisfying transaction that did indeed deliver more than was expected. Since I felt that I contributed some influence to my dad’s decision, I was concerned that he be happy with his decision. As we were driving away, I asked him what he really thought. He said it was even better than he expected. You really have to know him to know what a compliment that was, both to the car and to your honest appraisal of its appearance and condition. It was very nice to meet and do business with someone that shares our values regarding honest and integrity. As we discussed, those traits are becoming harder and harder to find these days. ___________________________________ Dear Randy: It's Saturday morning and I finally have some time and peace of mind to properly write you. The flurry of activities all started Wednesday night when Steve called and said he can deliver the car on Thursday morning. I made arrangements at work to be at home. On Thursday morning he was hitting traffic and so he arrived around noon. Right before Steve arrived, your packet arrived. I step out and Steve begins to unload a 2008 Mercedes but lo and behold, there is this cream beauty tucked inside. My mouth drops and I am quiet as I see the car. I am afraid to even get in it. Steve shows me the paperwork and I tell him it's a gift for my mom, etc. I get in the car and I am scared now. I don't know how I drove the literally 200 feet to my indoor garage but I managed to. I parked and bid farewell. But I kept on looking back and back. I went back to my apartment and then within an hour came down to see if it was still there. Yesterday, I should have worked but I could not bear the thought of the car not having tags, etc. and so I did the unthinkable and just waited the entire day at DMV (10-4:30) getting temporary tags, then inspection, then title, registration. THEN, I realized and saw the car. Before it was just too surreal. Randy, the car is gorgeous. It is everything you described it to be. I circled around the car like an artist admiring a painting. I then decided that I should just drive it. And so I did. I drove 40 miles to Maryland and back. It drives like a new car. Now, I understand why you told me to fly down and drive it back from Florida. Randy, I don't know how to do anything - opening the trunk, opening the hood, etc. - but it is because I am mesmerized by the car. THEN I started to reflect on how I came in the possession of this car. It started with you. I don't know what I did to deserve meeting someone of your caliber but I must have done something right. I recall our first series of emails and then our conversation. It is getting superfluous now but let me say it again and with the deepest conviction and emphasis - I bought you. The car just came with your integrity and honesty – your persona. Mrs. Piro and the children are blessed. I have called my mother and told her my impressions. I have never heard her this excited. I know she is going to say and feel what I saw and felt. It is a beauty. Your care shines through and through. Vinny's care is self-evident. Please convey to Vinny my deepest thanks for his care of the vehicle. But most important of all, I owe you a deep gratitude for making this happen. With your advice and counsel, I hope to properly take care of this car. I am in the national security business - and it is a tough business. It does not take long for one to become cynical about fellow human beings and about the world. You have restored some of my belief that the world still contains people such as yourself. Again, it's not the car. It's you. I hope you and I will remain in touch. I am certain I will have questions for you and Vinny. (e.g. when should I check the oil or have someone change oil and other important liquids, service schedule, etc.). Thank you, again and again and again. _________________________________________________________ Randy, Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Let me first say, I am very pleased with the car. It drove the 650 miles home perfectly. I average over 32 mpg at 75 mph most of the way. My first tank in city driving was 28.4. After I told all my friends and coworkers about how fairly you treated me during this transaction, I think they want in line for one of your cars. I have bought a couple of cars off of EBay, and this was, by far the best transaction I have had. It is very refreshing to meet someone who is so obviously passionate about, not only maintaining great cars, but in representing yourself so well. I will definitely stay in touch, and look to you when my wife allows me to have another car. I would love to make you an offer on the 300CD, but she would KILL me! Thank you again for your kindness and honesty. It was a pleasure to meet you, and I am sure I will speak to you soon. ______________________________________________________________________ Bid with confidence! I only sell what I would buy myself. This is a very nice 4 Runner. Inspections are more than welcome BEFORE the auction ends, but NO INSPECTIONS AFTER the auction ends. Check my feedback. Again, this is a private sale, I am not a dealer. It is very important to put a lot of weight in the seller’s feedback rating, when spending high $$$ on Ebay. I am very proud of my rating and work very hard to satisfy all my buyers. Thanks and good luck, Randy
