1972 PONTIAC GTO This is a Pontiac Historical Services proven 1972 Pontiac GTO. Only 5,807 GTO’s were built in 1972 and only 3,284 with this configuration. This car has always been a California car. It has it’s original blue plates and I have the build sheet and window stickers. This GTO has a 400 engine and 400 automatic transmission. 3.23 posi rear end. It also has power steering, power disc brakes, and air conditioning from the factory. Original color is Adriatic Blue with the Black vinyl top. Original interior is Black with a center console. I just put more than a Thousand dollars into the car. All of the following is new- front pads, front rotors, rear pads, rear cylinders, rear shocks, front ball joints, radiator, spark plugs, and interior gauges. This is a running and driving project car. It needs a full interior and exterior restoration but is very solid. NO RUST in floors or trunk. MINOR RUST in hood, bottom of drivers side rear quarter in corner, and trunk lid. Engine is not numbers matching. It is from a 1969 GTO and rated a 350 hp motor compared to the original 1972 GTO motor which was rated at only 250 hp. All windows are clear and no cracks and in working condition. All lights are working. Car has a current registration. Last picture is the original color and what it looks like restored. Come get it as it wont last long.
