Hey guys and gals got the bike you are looking for. Its a 1979 CX500 Cafe Racer it is totally rebuilt from the ground up. The motor was removed taken apart. Had a new stator, timing chain, and timing chain tensioners replaced. All valves were adjusted and the tappets redressed. As well as the oil sump cleaned and the oil pump chain replaced. The motor has a new main seal and oil seal. I put a new kg heavy duty clutch in it also to give that strong take off. All gaskets and o-rings were replaced on the bike with new oem honda not just the cheap ones wanted them to last. There is about 40 hrs of polishing done to the bike all hand polished from the valve covers, clutch cover, oil filter cover, and the lip around the wheels. The carbs were totally broke down cleaned and rebuilt with 90/120 jets back in them. They also have the k&n pod filters to get the maximum air flow and fuel to the motor. The bike also has a ingitech programmable ignition on it for maximum spark to the bike. It has a legendary thruxton cafe racer seat with brand new pad. The gas tank is in perfect condition with a flush mount gas lid as well as lined with por-15 the best liner on the market. It has brand new front and rear tire 16inch in the rear 19inch in the front.It has an aftermarket tarozzi for brace for maximum stability. It has progressive rear shocks new as well as progressive front springs in the forks rebuilt using belray 20w fork oil to absorb the bumps in the road. It has an aftermarket acewell digital gauge which is a 3904 series with custom led neutral and oil pressure light. I replaced the manual fan with a ducati electric fan to also take drag off the motor to get maximum horsepower. It has all new push pull throttle cables as well as new clutch cable and choke all made by motion pro. It has brand new rear brake pads and front which are disk rear are drum brakes. The calipers were totally rebuilt and a stainless braided brake line as well as a brand new oem honda master cylinder for the stopping you need when you are hitting the corners. It has brand new clip on handlebars from cafe racer web site with new grips with the steering stem professionally shaved down to get the uniform look of the cafe racer. It has a brand new battery and it was relocated in front of the rear tire in a custom made battery box. It has a lucas hooded tail light with new front and rear turn signals which are all wired up to the acwell gauge. It has a 7inch bright white head light for good visibility at night. I have also put a custom pair of rear sets on the bike and has been converted to right side shift and left side brake like the older triumphs and nortons. The gears are now 1 up 4 down which is really nice and sets this bike apart from any other bike. For those of you who don't know what all that fancy stuff is it is a very nice clean bike. Very quick and reliable it only has 130 miles on the motor after rebuild still getting broke in. If you have any questions feel free to ask I can answer any question about the bike.
