I bought this car last year but no longer have time to complete it. I have done nothing to the car, it is exactly how I bought it. I was told I am the 3rd owner the original being an elderly woman that never drove in the snow. I was told the odometer shows the true mileage, 47,000. It originally came with a 402 engine. The guy I bought it from peeled off the vinyl top, removed the 402 and installed a rebuilt 454. The engine has a few hours running time. It has a brand new transmission, alternator, radiator, carburetor, fuel lines, steel brake lines, brakes, 411 posi rear. There is a new headliner, uninstalled. In the trunk is a box with chrome and they claim the chrome is all for the vinyl top. As far as I can tell, there are no rust holes in this car, but I think if you sand on the quarters there might be a hole in the wheel wells. There are no holes underneath at all. The previous owner removed the column shifter and installed a floor shifter. The original bench seats are perfect and I had planned on putting the factory shifter back in. There are 2 small tears in the side of the seat at the bottom that I think can be easily fixed. The car hadn't been run for 3 months, I charged the battery and drove it out of my garage this morning. It fired right up. The carb needs tuning but it runs good. I have many pictures, but they do not do this car justice. Some fine tuning, paint and tires and you have a really nice car. I believe there are 5 Corvette rally wheels as well. The car is listed locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
