68' BMW R50/2 US Model ~ A Beautiful Survivor ~ A Scarce find! Super clean, Original un-restored example, in complete and very good running condition. Stored many years in a large collection. From the estate. She was professionally stored for many years in a heated Warehouse Now out of storage, just completed a "in-depth inspection & service" back to strong running condition. Great daily driver. Comes with several manuals. She has no leaks, starts, idles, runs, accelerates and stops beautifully. Engine mechanicals looks like new. Carburetors are rebuilt and work well. Paint is very good and patina'ed. No rust on the chassis, tank or fenders. There are a couple of obvious custom changes; i.e. the key/ignition is more modern and the front fender is slightly shortened. This retro motorcycle shows and drives very well. A great vintage look with legendary reliability. An outstanding example with the classic Earls Forks the solo saddle seat. Its got that vintage look and original patina. Current sells and ships with a Bill-of-Sale. It is not hard to get a title for a vintage Bike of this age with a bill of sale.
