this is a factory built starsky and hutch torino. 1976 with a 400 v8 this is one of the most rarest of the starsky and hutch torinos if not the rarest built. the only one ordered with a handling suspension one of one and I do have the Marti Report that does show indeed that is one of one. that is not the only thing on this car the Marti Report states that it came with a bench seat.... but it has bucket and console w/floor shift (factory). I did talk to a Guy that does seem to know alot about The S&H Torinos and said that this option could have been changed on the assembley line as this was not uncommon during those years. It also is a Gran Sport Torino not also stated on The Marti Report, I was told prior too that their were no S&H Gran Sport built, but this does have all the Sport Options that look aged to the car. The seller I purchased the car from had told me when her Husband purchased the car at least 18 to 20 yrs ago the seller had told him it had been used in one of The Original S&H series back in the 70's. It had a Century Fox ID Tag on the car but he was not selling the car with the ID Tag. I did talk to a guy that knows alot about the S&H models and he know that a Sport model had been used in one of the episodes in the 70's so it very well could have been this car! but that is just what I had been told! The car has most of the original paint with a scrap on the passenger door and fender,it will need some rust repair, the drivers floor pan,a patch on the inside door post in front,and some lower corners of the doors,trunk is solid,body is good no rust thru. (It does need full restoration) all origianl from top to bottom with the exceptions of the wheels, If your looking to restore aTorino this it The One!
