STUNNING! Fantastic 1961 Chevrolet Impala 2 door Sports Coupe or know as "bubble top" coupe. This car is awsome from front to back and top to bottom. The body is laser straight rust free all steel with a perfect base coat clear deep burgundy metallic. The floors, doors, sills, jambs, inner fenders and trunk are all rust free and rock solid, if you buy it I have no problem with taking it down to the local shop and putting it on the lift to prove it...nothing hidden. Bumpers are straight and NO damage with nice chrome. The driveline is a fresh rebuilt SB350 with a mild cam and four barrel carb. The motor has very nice billet finned valve covers and matching billet finned air filter. Plug wires are routed thru a billet guide and exhaust is sent to the new pipes via ceramic coated Hooker headers. Heater works perfect and the Vintage are unit will chill you snow balls right off. Transmission is a fresh rebuild 700R4 overdrive unit that will let you cruise the interstate at low rpm's. Interior is a fresh black with new seat covers, door panels and carpet. The trunk has all new carpet and custom side panels that hide the Air Ride Technologies equipment. A few custom feature include a slick new vintage Corvette style grill, Cadilac tail lights lenses, shaved trunk key (poper button in ash tray) and tasteful pin stripping on the hood and trunk. The Impala also has front disc brakes and new non-power break master cylinder with the right proportioning valve so the car breaks well without nose diving. The car is riding on Air Ride Technologies air bag setup with front and rear gauge and controls under the dash, the car has a single tank and pump hidden in the trunk on the pass side behind a custom trim panel. Rims are chrome torque thrust style with new 15" Goodyears all around. This car has been done for about 15 years and in that time it has never been soap and water washed, it has simply been garage kept and shown sparingly over that time. If it needed the dust knocked off of it, it was done with a micro fiber cloth and quick detail spray and you can tell that there is no micro fine scratches in the paint. Simply a stunning paint job. The car does not have the cowl tag, so I can not trace the exact options the car would have been sold from the dealership with. I do have a clear Ohio title in hand. The paint is 9.5 out of 10 and the most impressive part is there isn't a single ding in ANY of the exterior trim. This car is a very impressive cruiser that will win awards at shows or cruise in's.
