I owned this Westy from 1988 to sometime in the mid to late 90s. I then sold it to a friend who has owned it since. The engine went bad at about 120K miles and he replaced the engine with some engine exchange company. He lost interest in the car and it's been sitting in a field for the last 3 years. I pulled it home and am listing it for him/me on a buddy deal. The title is clear and ready to transfer. I have not tried to start it, as I'm sure the fuel is bad. It needs a battery and the fuel needs to be drained before I would attemt a start. It was running fine when he parked it, but hasn't been cranked since then. The canvas is still good on the pop top, but the screen is rotted and would need replacement. Due to heat/sun, a lot of the plastic parts are broken, visor clip is a good example, these parts are available and cheap. It's a project car, but it's all there, just needs a lot of TLC. I/we will not deliver, it's up to you to arrange pick up, or professional delivery. The car is sold as is. Pesonal check must clear the bank, cashiers check must be cleared by bank, Paypal, or cash.
