Vehicle Detail
Full disclosure right up front. This car is rough. First of all, the engine is blown & needs to be replaced. Otherwise, mechanically, all is well, though sometimes the trans wouldn't shift into OD. I think that was an electronic issue. Tires are not great. Body: Pretty much every body panel has light scratches and / or a minor ding or 2; very minor. The two areas worse than that are pictured: the driver side front fender, and the door on the same side. I did not take pictures of every body panel; just keep in mind that there IS light damage on pretty much every panel. All glass is fine. The wheels are all scratched & scraped up pretty badly, but straight. Interior is reasonably clean, but this was the car my wife used for commuting and shuttling the kids around, so it's not pristine. Plastic parts may have some scuffs, etc, particularly on the glove box door. No tears, rips or anything like that in the upholstry. The carpets are ok, but still some sand from the beach last summer, that my crappy vac wouldn't get out. Ultimately, with a really thorough detailing, this interior would be pretty nice. Never smoked in. We (wife & I) are the original owners of this car; the title is clear, but still the original title with the lien stamp from the bank.. We also have also includes the 'Lein satisfaction' documents from the bank, so no problems with 'motor vehicles'. If you feel better about having the lien-free title, I will go to DMV transfer it myself ahead of time, but you will pay me for that service. Arrange ahead of time . I have called NJMVC and have been assured that there is no problem selling a vehicle with the lien on title, along with the satisfaction docs; the new owner just brings both in order to transfer title.. If you live out of state, you might want to call and check with your own agency. Any other questions feel free to email, or better yet, call me at 908 566 5640 THIS IS 2.3 L ... sorry for previous mistake. The car is located in central NJ, not too far from New Brunswick. I may be able to trailer it to you for a fee, but make sure we discuss it before you bid. This car is obviously being sold as-is, with no warrantied offered or implied. I will expect a 25% deposit, via check, m/o, cash, or paypal, within 48 hours of auction end. The car is to picked up and paid for in full within ten days of auction end, unless prior arrangements are made. If you make final payment with anything other than cash, I will not release the title or the car until that payment clears. No exceptions. I would very much prefer cash, in person, for final payment.
