1971 Honda

Welcome All Kids to my auction, today i am listing for sale my original 1971 Honda SL-70cc Mini Motorcycle: , I gave this remarkable bike to my son for Christmas the year he was born. It had only been used 717 actual miles since new and was a remarkable example of originality and sacred care. Never been dropped , not even one ding dent or rust in the exhaust pipe. I mounted a new nos speedo unit for Christmas: The bike has been well preserved and maintained to the best of my own ability. this would include the following: I was able to and locate and install 2 new tires. I still have the originals and they go with the bike.Please see picture as they only had minimal wear of the actual 717 miles . As a kid myself ,going through third grade, the year was 1971 for me. It was not known at the time but the golden years for Honda was just hitting the United States by storm. I was never able to get my hands on one of these bikes as a kid and when i had the chance it came along 40 years later. These honda Sl70s were the perfect solution for us Califonia kids growing up with lotts of time on our hands. The first Honda dealerships opened up in Los Angeles California and spread like fire through the other 50 states. If you were fortunate to visit a show room it was amazing. Brocheres were available for each bike to take home and begin the dream of ownership.They set the pathway for many good times, and the little street legal Honda bike from Japan, beat in time perfectly with American culture, 2. Ruby Red was my favorite color of the three colors offered that year. I had it touched up to show room standards and looks awsome. 3. The original chrome plating is outstanding through out the bike. Only the tail light bracket was sent out to be replated. 4. The engine was never removed from the chasis since it was new. This bike could make you a very happy kid again. To find one in this condition may set you back a pretty penny.
