1966 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe - All numbers Matching The car is a big block 427 cu in, 390 HP with a 4-speed transmission. Does it get any better than that? Exterior color is Silver Pearl and interior color is the black standard interior. Car was restored although much of the interior is original! Many ads on Ebay for classic collector cars will say "Not a trailer Queen." Let me say right now that this car IS MOST DEFINATELY A TRAILER QUEEN. It travels covered with a soft car cover inside an enclosed trailer. See attached pictures. If you are familiar with NCRS, this car was judged Top Flight at a REGIONAL show in May, 2011. This means not only is the engine and transmission and rear-end numbers matching, but the alternator, carburetor, exhaust manifolds, etc, etc are the correctly coded part numbers and/or correctly date coded where applicable. The judges check to see that the bolts have the correct head markings, and that the screws have the correct finish! This is restoration to the Nth degree. The car has the transistorized ignition, AM/FM radio with power antenna, tinted glass. Reproduction knock-off wheels with goldline bias-ply tires. The car is not perfect. It is over 45 years old. It won't score 100%, but it will score 97%. There is no power steering, no power brakes, no A/C. This car was built for one thing - to go fast! There are less expensive 66 Corvettes for sale on Ebay, but this show quality car won't disappoint and is worth the price. No joy rides, or tire kickers. Being sold "As IS".
