Vehicle Detail
BANK REPO by Central Bank in Lebanon, MO. 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car does have a PRIOR SALVAGE TITLE! For those not familiar, this means it was determined a total loss by an insurance company at some point, and then rebuilt. I do not know the extent of the damages on this car. I do know it was repaired by a body shop in this town that has been voted as the local favorite for the past two years. They have been in business a long time and know how to properly repair a wrecked vehicle. You will get a title and will be able to license and register the vehicle as normal. The title will just say PRIOR SALVAGE MOTOR VEHICLE on the face. EXTERIOR: Gray paint in average condition. Since being rebuilt, the car has not had the best care. There are some cosmetic defects such as, dents on the bottom of the drivers side doors, cracked place in front bumper around license plate bracket, pushed in place on corner of rear bumper, and some various scratches, etc. The hubcaps are gone. Tires are getting pretty worn and the right rear goes flat after about 24 hours. Right front loses air, too. Check out the pictures...I've taken pictures of the best and worst parts of the car so you won't be surprised. INTERIOR: Dirty! However, the cloth interior and carpets are not beyond cleaning. If it were mine, I'd take out the seats so everything could be shampooed really well, and I think it would look like new. Some people would be fine with it as is. I do not have the keyless entry fobs. MECHANICALLY: Car has just turned over 100,000 miles. It does have the GM proven 3800 engine, which starts and seems to run good. History indicates that the engine should have a lot of life left in it, but it is a used repo car, too. I have not noticed anything wrong with the car. The debtor was driving it a lot prior to the repo, so I would assume its okay. Definately would want to change to oil and check all the fluids. Yes, the car is a little rough, but it could be shaped up with a little work. These cars are pretty dependable and not hard on gas. REPO/NO WARRANTY: The vehicle you are purchasing is a repossession by Central Bank in Lebanon, Missouri. I will give a good description of what I know about the vehicle, but this has not been my personal vehicle and in most cases I do not have a detailed history on the vehicle. All vehicles are sold without warranty expressed or implied. Vehicle has not been safety inspected. Central Bank does not guaranty the vehicle to pass safety inspection. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There is no negotiation on price after the sale or upon delivery of the vehicle. Bidders are highly encouraged to come and inspect the vehicle before the end of the auction. DO NOT ASK THESE QUESTIONS: 1. Reserve price (on auctions w/a reserve) 2. Amount owed on the vehicle 3. Buy-it-now price 4. I will not end the auction early 5. I will not send second chance offers SCAMS: I do not send second chance offers. If you are contacted buy someone wanting to sell you an item I’ve had listed for a ridiculously low price and willing ship it across the country for $20, IT IS A SCAM. They will likely want you to pay thru Ebay, which does not happen either. If you buy something from Central Bank, your check will be made directly to Central Bank and you can pay for the vehicle when you pick it up. We do not do shipping. You can arrange and pay for shipping on your own, if you so choose. TEST DRIVE: NOT possible. You are welcome to come and inspect the vehicle, start, and drive it around the parking lot, but we DO NOT allow test drives on the street/road under any circumstances. This is not a car dealership. TITLE: Central Bank has a lien-free title for all vehicles. Title to vehicle will be transferred with payment in full, and/or once funds have been verified. All you pay is the high bid amount. No hidden fees. PAYMENT: Central Bank expects payment in full within 7 days of the auction ending. Preferred payment methods are wire transfers, or official checks. Personal or business checks are accepted, but the title will not be transferred until the funds have cleared your account. SELL TO LOCATIONS: Due to some recent problems with winning bidders from countries outside the USA not completing the transaction, I have restricted sales to the USA. VIEWING: Potential bidders/buyers are welcome to come look at the vehicle before the auction ends. However, it is HIGHLY recommended that you call before you come to make sure someone will be available to show you the vehicle. We are NOT here on Saturdays for vehicle viewing. PICK UP & DELIVERY: Buyer is responsible for getting their purchase to its new home. Arrangements will need to be made in advance. We are closed on Saturdays in the loan office, but do have a drive thru open until noon. We should be able to make arrangements for Saturday pick up as long as you get here before NOON. Weekday pick ups should be by 4:00, unless special arrangements are made. DEPOSIT: No deposit is required if you pay within 7 days. If you are unable to pay and pick up the vehicle within 7 days, we require a 10% or $250 deposit (whichever is greater). FEEDBACK: All bidders with zero (0) feedback must e-mail me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. Feedback will be left on the buyer’s account once the transaction is completed. CONTACT INFORMATION: E-MAIL is by far the best method of contact. I will reply to e-mails within 24 hours unless a weekend or holiday. I am VERY difficult to get on the phone. You may try to call Central Bank, 9:00 am – 4:00pm, CST, Monday-Thursday, and 9:00am – 6:00 pm on Fridays. Phone (417)-532-2151, ask for Travis, you will probably have to leave a message.
