2000 Jetta TDI. I've been using this Jetta to commute back and forth to work for the last few years and it runs great. The body has a few dings and the interior shows wear and has staining. The interior needs a good detailing. Inspected through march 2012. AS IS... great deal for a mechanic or for parts. Recent repair:I put in a brand new turbo charger recently. There are many issues I am aware of and I will try to list them all, however the car does run and I've driven it every day 24 miles each way for a few years. 1- Driver's side door lock needs to be fixed/replaced. It is difficult to open and also sometimes the alarm does not get disarmed properly. 2- The glove box is missing a piece of plastic which makes the door come off when fully opened 3- The transmission slips, especially in first gear, however it will generally slip when "putting the pedal to the metal" The transmission will need to be serviced. 4- The trunk lock is broken. You can get it open if you push down on the trunk very hard while turning the key. This will need to be fixed. 5- Missing one VW hub cap 6- Cruise control does not work 7- The keyless entry is missing. I have just one normal key 8- The cup holder over the stereo is broken Hi resolution photos at this link On Jan-09-12 at 11:27:48 PST, seller added the following information: Update: I forgot to mention.. the catalytic convertor has been bypassed on this car. There is no emissions testing in Butler county so it wasn't required when it went bad. Take this into consideration. It may or may not pass an emissions test, I can't answer that.
