Vehicle Detail

**Update** Added pictures from under car, which has been Rust proofed (Undercoated). This is a great little Toyota for a super price! I would love to keep it, but must sell to pay for a work truck! I am also selling locally, first one get it! You are looking at a rare, single family owned, 1988 Toyota Celica All-Trac (All Wheel Drive) Turbo 5-Speed, with 66,534 documented miles! This was purchased in January1988, by a 72 yo gentelman who used it purely for pleasue driving. He kept immaculate care for it up until approx. 2002. He kept the original dealer Window Sticker (Century Toyota in Wallingford, CT) and even the dealer key tag. He also bought Toyota Service manuals for 1988 Celica, 1988 Celica All-Trac, and 1988 Celica wiring diagrams (including All-Trac), seat belts (still in boxes), front grill (has been used), rear deck cover, center console arm rest, and 2 sets of floor mats. All of these items are included with sale, along with: original 1988 Toyota Celica model brochure, Four 1987/88 magazines with articles on the 1988 Celica All-Trac (Car & Driver, Road & Track, AutoWeek, and All Wheel Drive car buyers guide), and a log book which covers gas, oil changes, maintenance, and everything done to the car from the first entry on 01/20/1988 with 55 miles to 09/23/2001 with 64,607. The first thing that comes to mind with this car is the unmolested, original interior in Incredible condition, with No rips or cracks! The pictures tell the story of a well cared for car. The Interior is near mint and I believe everything works, with the exception of the power steering. The 8 way adjustable drivers seat is very supportive and comfortable, especially for a 23 yo seat! I was told the power steering needed a return hose from the resevoir to the steering unit, from the previous owners mechanic. The steering is a little heavy while stopped, but fine running down the road. There are NO Check engine or Warning lights on! The body is straight and in good condition, but could use a paint job as the paint is peeling in some spots, and a few bare spots need to be sanded and primered. The engine starts right up, runs good and sound good with no unusual noises. This car runs out great, pulls strong with its near 200 hp, shift smoothly, and is a blast to drive. I had the oil changed with Royal Purple oil and filter and flushed the cooling system. The previous owner replaced the fuel pump, brakes (replaced rotors & pads, rebuilt calipers), new master cylinder, clutch cylinder, clutch slave rebuilt, and installed a new Optima battery. Here is some info off of the window sicker. Base price was $20,498.00, and with options ( and a destination charge of $240.) $24,003.00. This has Automatic A/C, Upgraded Stereo (still sounds pretty good), Cruise Control, Sunroof, Anti-Lock Brakes, and carpeted floor mats. It also list the mileage as 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. I had an opportunity for work come up just days after I bought this, but requires a truck. Unfortunately for me, I can't afford both, so here is your chance to get a Rare and Cool little Celica! Thanks for looking!
