Unique 1989 Ford Merkur Scorpio made in Germany and sold in Delaware to the original owners who are now selling the vehicle in Florida with extremely low mileage. This vehicle has been used in the Daytona Beach area and maintained by the owners who will provide all the records . The owners are my neighbors and the vehicle is located across the street and the pictures are mine that I took after inspecting the vehicle and parts and manuals and title. I am posting this vehicle for them as they are an elderly couple unfamiliar with computers. The inventory I have inspected includes the Scorpio 4 inch thick shop manual, electrical schematics, spare wheel, new spare hoses (not shown in photos), new spare ignition harness, 1 new spare head gasket, 1 gasket kit complete and a new spare head bolt kit. Title is clear and the owners have the original purchase documents and manuals and title for inspection. The interior is tan leather and well maintained. The exterior is in very good condition. The glass has no chips or cracks and the Ziebart sticker is still attached. The engine compartment is very clean as you can see in the photo. The engine in the North American Scorpio is the Cologne 2.9L V6. The manual transmission is the T-9 5-speed. The only obvious damage is a dent in the bottom of the front right chassis behind the front well where it slipped from a jack and I have attached a photo. No other damage is visible or known and the owners have had no accidents or body repairs to the car. The owners have operated the Scorpio since new and operated it locally in Florida. The owners have bought a new Edge and reluctantly are parting with the Scorpio for garage space. This car has been well cared for and loved since purchase and comes with a lot of parts and manuals that show how much attention was given to the vehicle over its life. There was an odometer change and the required sticker is shown in the photos as well as the current odometer. The total vehicle mileage in this listing is correct. Purchasers will be reponsible for providing a $500 deposit by PayPal. The balance will be by cash in person or certified check from a bank that can be verified by the owner or another satisfactory and verifiable instrument from the owner's bank. The Buyer is responsible for costs of delivery of the vehicle to final destination if not driven away personally from the owner's location. The vehicle is sold as-is of course with all the items you see in the photos including the hoses not shown in the photo. Those are new radiator and heater hoses that can be detailed if required. Parts are readily available from the distributor in the US and that information is included in the vehicle purchase.
