Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a 1977 Triumph Silver Jubilee. One Thousand of these were made in 1977 to celebrate the Queens Birthday. I acquired the bike with a bunch of other stuff in garage sale (this was the only motorcycle related piece). I know little about it but I will tell you what I was told. It has sat the last several years in a garage. It was supposed to have had the motor re-done (she thought) and by the way it runs I can't dispute this. It runs great and shifts really nice. After sitting in my garage the last 2 weeks there is only one small drop od oil on the floor which may be from me changing it. It is super tight and looks like a bike that was ridden alot but taken care of. The paint and chrome are not perfect but pretty dam good. The bike sat next to a window with the morning and afternoon sun shining on it which has made the tank, rear fender, and chain guard a bit duller that the front fender and side covers (which are pretty nice) or perhaps the previous owner had these re painted at some point. The mufflers also are perfect. There are minor scratches and dings here and there that any well ridden which any 34 year old bike would have (the header tubes have a few dimples, there is a small dent and scratch in the very front of the tank by the head tube) but overall its pretty nice. Let me make it clear it is not a show piece but a really nice original. I have the owners manual and parts manual as well. I know there was a certificate from the queen or something that came with these but I do not have this paper. I have a clean Pennsylvania title. Restore a limited classic or drive a super cool original. I will do my best to answer any questions and happy bidding. I am selling the as is where is and due to my limited knowledge of it viewers should do their homework as far as the history of the bike. Thanks for looking.
