Vehicle Detail

I am the second owner of the car since 1996. The car was driven up until monday January 2nd., 2011. The gearbox broke when I tried to reverse out of my garage - something came loose inside and broke the gearbox housing, the oil leaked out. The engine was extremely strong and uses no oil - I can still start it. There are 2 sets of wheels/tires, both sets of tires are in great shape - Michelin Exaltos for the summer and Dunlop Wintersport for the snow. On Jan-07-12 at 09:15:39 PST, seller added the following information: Due to a lot of requests I have added additional information and pictures to address numerous questions. The mileage is 134,230 not 153,000 There have been no major accidents. One person did back into the front passenger panel which got crinkled - see pictures to see results. The interior is in good shape - the headliner was replaced and so is clean and is not falling down. The seats are great and have no tears, the drivers seat shows some wear/not major on the door side. The Pioneer stereo is a few years old and has a single CD player, Bluetooth phone connect, ipod/USB connect and new infinity speakers at the 4 corners. The AC blows cold and does not lose any refrigerant. Electric windows, mirrors, front seats, antenna, moon roof all function correctly. All lights, indicator lights and lens are good and function. There are 2 sets of wheels - the original SAAB magnesium AERO style which have the Dunlop Wintersport M3 tires on, and some aftermarker borbet alloys with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires. All tires have a significant/most of the tread remaining - see pictures for tread depth asof 1/6/12. The body does have a number of dings and dents especially on the front right panel, I have alwasys garaged it and so it does not have any rust, except a small patch at the bottom of the rear right wheel arch by the door. There is significant service history at Saab which I believe you can get from them if you provide the vin number. Let me know your email if you want me to send the pictures on Saturday. thanks - merrickwightman
