Up for auction is my 1999 Beetle 1.8 Turbo . I purchased it from a friend who was trading it in for a new car and have used it to run around with as it is very economical and being the desirable and reliable 1.8 engine with the factory turbo . It could use a few minor things which I will list below but overall she runs and drives great in my opinion , the lights all work and I would feel comfortable driving the bug across country if I had to . The body is in overall good condition , there is a few small marks and scratches on the drivers door which you can make out in the pictures , other than that a few small scratches on the bumper . This model comes with factory heated leather seats and factory fitted sunroof , electric windows as well . The interior is in fair condition , the drivers seat stitching on the inside bolster has separated at pictured , a simple fix if you want to take the time to do it , It does require another back seat base as it was removed and went missing , I priced them on ebay for $150 used the other day . Other than that it does have some lights that are displayed on the dash , the check engine light , and airbag light which I was told is a factory fault in this model ?? There are scratches on the top of the dashboard from a dogs nails , I did get a price of $100 to have it repaired if it bothers you , as you can see from the pictures it is not bad , lastly the radi needs repair or replacement it works and then does not , there is a CD shuttle in the trunk but I have never used it . Regardless I have been driving the bug trouble free . If you are looking at a reasonable Turbo for little money then this may be worth a look , as you can see she has been priced to sell fast . we will help assist in loading if you need to transport it anywhere .
