I bough this bike for $1250.00 in mid 2009. I've done some upgrades, including an airbox eliminator kit, which includes a small air filter mounted directly onto the carb, eliminating the highly restrictive stock airbox, and installed a jet kit to accomodate the increased airflow. This added a few horsepower and increased low-end power greatly. I also added LED bulbs to the rear turn signals and tail light. The right rear tail light needs a new mount, the bike needs a new battery, the headlight mount is broken, and the speedo/odometer quit working at 1150 miles. I'm estimating that I rode the bike for another 400 miles after it stopped recording miles. Rear brake needs to be bled. These are common problems for Lifan bikes, which require owners with some mechanical ability to keep them running. Been sitting for several months, old gas will need to be drained but should start with new battery installation. Stored indoors, absolutely no leaks. Tires, front brakes, motor are all excellent. I have all the parts I removed to save weight, like chrome guards from the exhaust, along with the airbox. I have new aluminum passenger pegs ready to mount. The 200cc 4-stroke engine is a copy of the 80's Honda 200cc, and is very reliable. If you did seize one, you can get them new for around $350 on E-bay. Never dropped or crashed. This is a fun bike to rip around the countryside, or for some cheap, economical daily transportation to work. Clear title in-hand.
