Up for auction is this 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT 4X4 with 80,207 miles on the odometer. I purchased this vehicle with in July, 2005 from a dealer with 32,506 miles on the odometer. Since that time, this vehicle has been well maintained with regular maintenence and all service records being retained. These records will be transferred to the new owner at the time of sale. This truck runs and drives very well, and everything works as it should. In December, 2010 the transmission was rebuilt professionally with 75,137 miles on the odometer. Truck is inspected until 12/31/2011. Some of the features of this truck are extended cab, power windows, power locks, heated mirrors, sliding rear window, and a factory heavy duty towing package with Class III receiver hitch, helper springs and brake controller. There is a factory bed liner, AM/FM cassette and an (uninstalled) Alpine CD player is included with sale. There is also a large storage area under the rear seat. The interior is clean and in very good condition with the exception of one small crack in the front portion of the dash which is barely noticeable. Tires are in good condition are have about 75-80 percent tread left. This vehicle has never been in an accident or abused in any way. A new air filter and wiper blades have just been installed. Owners manuals, two keys and two remotes are included There are rust issues typical with Dodge trucks. Both front fenders have rust on the fender flares, and there is rust underneath. The right front and rear brake lines have corrosion and should be replaced. Rear brakes and rotors also have some rust. The left rear differential U bolt has rust and should be replaced, as well as the left rear emergency brake cable. I no longer need this vehicle and need room for other things. With some basic TLC, mechanical and cosmetic work, this would be an excellent truck for farm, work or play. It will tow and go through anything! This truck is priced to sell accordingly with a starting bid of $3999 and no reserve. Kelly Blue Book and N.A.D.A. price this truck (fair condition) at about $6500-$7000 so this truck is a bargain.
