I got my 11 year old this bike from a good friend. I have a cr 250 and my son wanted to learn to ride, It was in good shape when I got the bike. It had a new tire and chain just installed. My friend's son had the bike as second owner and has owner it for four years. I just put new piston and ring in bike with less then five hours. It so powerful that when I took it out it pulls the tire off the ground for 3 gears and I realized that this bike is way to powerful for my son as his first bike. So im thinking of selling to start him on something smaller. I also just put new front brakes on it. plus have a helmet that should fit for 8 to 12 year old kids.
